Most are. Steel toe and composite toe styles meet ASTM F2413-24, rated I/75 for impact and C/75 for compression, and carry EH electrical hazard protection. Soft toe styles meet ASTM F2892-24 with EH protection but have no safety toe. The exact rating is on each product page.

Most styles come in more than one toe option. A steel toe gives the most protection but conducts temperature and reads on a metal detector. A composite toe also protects against impact and compression, but it is lighter, does not conduct temperature, and will not set off a metal detector. A soft toe has no protective cap, for jobs that do not require a safety toe. The toe type is named in each product title.

Our waterproof boots use a DryVault™ waterproof bootie, a sealed inner membrane that keeps water out while your feet stay dry. Water resistant styles shed rain and splashes but are not sealed for standing water. Each product page says which one that boot is.

Leather molds to your foot over the first week or two, so wear the boots a few hours at a time to start. Wipe off dirt, air dry away from direct heat, and condition leather every few weeks. For suede and nylon styles, use a suede brush and protector spray instead of conditioner.

Both are ANSI/ISEA 107-2020 visibility classes. Class 2 covers the torso and suits most road, parking, and warehouse work with traffic up to about 25 mph. Class 3 adds visibility on the sleeves with more reflective and background material, for high speed traffic and high risk sites. When in doubt, or above 25 mph, most crews choose Class 3.

Our reflective styles use Noctis 360™ tape, placed for 360 degree visibility so headlights and work lights catch you from any direction. On rated garments the tape meets the ANSI/ISEA 107-2020 reflective requirements.

We rate cut resistance on the ANSI/ISEA 105 scale. A1 is light cut resistance for general handling and grip. A4 handles moderate to high cut hazards like sheet metal and glass. A5 is high cut resistance for blades and heavy fabrication. Unrated gloves are for grip and light work only. The level is named in the product title.

EN 388 is the European standard for mechanical protection. The four numbers and letters rate, in order, abrasion, cut (Coup test), tear, and puncture, and a final letter is the ISO 13997 cut rating from A to F. Higher numbers and letters mean more protection.
