Our Story

Kiwi Workwear started with one man and one box. Kumar Sethi came to the United States in the late 1990s and built a general merchandise distribution business from the ground up. The first product he ever sold was a simple string-knit, latex-dipped work glove.

From there the company grew the honest way. One box became a pallet. A pallet became a truck. A truck became full containers. We have now distributed over five hundred containers of goods, and today Kiwi Workwear ships over five million pairs of gloves a year.

Why We Do This

Big companies overcharge for safety gear that does not cost that much to make. People are required by law to wear this gear to do their jobs, and we refuse to take advantage of that. Our focus is simple. Get the people who need the gear the right gear at the best price. No one should be priced out of working safely.

Check the Rating on Every Product

Every rated Kiwi product lists its rating on its product page, so you can check it before you buy.

Hi-vis apparel. The ANSI/ISEA 107-2020 type and class are named on each product page. Unrated general visibility styles say so.
Work boots. Ratings are listed under Specifications: ASTM F2413-24 I/75 C/75 on safety toe styles, ASTM F2892-24 on soft toe styles, EH where the boot carries it, and SR to ASTM F3445 where marked.
Work gloves. Each glove lists its ANSI/ISEA 105 cut level and its EN 388 marking.
Care and use. Product pages include care instructions and instructions for use.
