Not sure which to pick? Put them side by side.
Choose any two products to compare specs, ratings, and features in one view. Deciding between hi-vis classes or glove cut levels? Our Safety Compliance and Standards guide breaks down exactly what each rating means and who it is for. You can also explore our Technology and Materials.
Comparing a different category? Go to Compare Footwear or Compare Apparel. All three sit together on Compare Our Products.
What the cut levels actually mean
ANSI/ISEA 105 measures the grams of load a blade needs to cut through the material. The letters are shorthand for that number.
The scale is not evenly spaced. A9 is thirty times A1, and the step from A4 to A5 is far smaller in real terms than the step from A8 to A9.

Every Kiwi glove, every tested level
How to read this grid. Letter or digit the level it tested to, coloured on the scale at the top of this page X not tested for that property Empty no rating claimed
The comparison above puts two gloves side by side. This grid puts all sixteen on one screen, so you can choose on a single test instead of stepping through pairs.
The five EN 388 positions are printed on the cuff in this order, so the row is the code. An X means the glove was not tested for that property.
