A wide width (E) 6-inch wheat nubuck steel toe work boot for men and women, built on a Goodyear welt for construction and industrial crews who need toe protection.

The upper is water-resistant wheat nubuck leather, built to hold up to daily wear on the job site and in bad weather. Dense, precision-stitched seams and a tightly built upper keep water out in rain and mud, so your feet stay dry through a wet shift. For standing water all day, look at our DryVault™ waterproof styles.

The steel toe is ASTM F2413-24 I/75 C/75 compliant. It withstands 75 ft-lb of impact and 2,500 lb of compression. The boot is also rated EH (Electrical Hazard) and SR (Slip Resistant, ASTM F3445).

EH rated means the boot is tested to withstand 18,000 volts AC at 60 Hz for 1 minute with no current leakage above 1.0 mA.

Underneath, a Goodyear welt stitches the upper to a heavy-duty GripTrek™ slip and oil resistant rubber lug outsole for traction and stability on a wide range of surfaces. A steel shank runs through the midfoot to support the arch on ladder rungs and uneven ground. Because the sole is stitched on, a cobbler can resole the boots when the tread wears down.

Inside, a breathable mesh lining and an extra-cushioned mesh + PU insole handle comfort and moisture over long shifts. The insole lifts out, so you can fit your own orthotic. 200g 3M™ Thinsulate™ insulation keeps your feet warm on cold mornings without adding bulk, and the breathable lining keeps the boot easy to wear when the weather warms up.

Seven reinforced metal eyelets let you lace the boot as snug or as loose as you like. The padded 6-inch shaft holds the ankle steady and cuts fatigue on long days. Width: E (Wide). A rear pull loop makes the boots easy to pull on.

Sized in US men's 5 to 12 in half sizes, plus 13, which fits women's 6.5 to 13.5, plus 14.5. The box label shows both sizes.

Replace the boots after any heavy impact or compression to the toe, even if no damage shows. EH protection is reduced when the boots are wet or as the outsole wears. Steel reads on a metal detector, so if your site screens for metal, choose a metal-free composite toe style.

Care Instructions:
Hand wash only.
Remove loose dirt with a soft brush, then wipe clean with a damp cloth and mild soap.
Do not machine wash.
Do not bleach.
Do not tumble dry.
Do not iron.
Do not dry clean.
Wipe away road salt promptly with a damp cloth before it dries in.
Once dry, restore the nap with a suede and nubuck brush. Do not apply smooth leather polish or conditioner, which flattens the nap.

Drying & Storage:
Air dry at room temperature away from direct heat and sunlight, as excessive heat may crack leather and weaken adhesives.
Remove the laces and footbed after heavy soaking and allow a full 24 hours to dry.
Store in a clean, dry, ventilated area.

Inspection:
Inspect boots for outsole wear, sole separation, damaged toe protection, or compromised seams and hardware before each use, and remove them from service if protective performance is compromised.

Kiwi work boots are designed and tested to the applicable ASTM F2413-24 or ASTM F2892-24 requirements marked on each product, providing impact, compression, and electrical hazard protection where rated.

For proper protection, select the correct size and lace boots fully to ensure a secure fit and ankle support. Replace boots after any significant impact to the protective toe, even if no damage is visible.

EH rated footwear is designed to reduce the hazard of accidental contact with live electrical circuits, and is tested to withstand 18,000 volts at 60 Hz for one minute with no current leakage under dry conditions. EH protection diminishes with outsole wear, moisture, and contamination, and EH-rated footwear is not a substitute for dielectric footwear.

Slip resistant outsoles reduce, but do not eliminate, the risk of slipping on wet or oily surfaces. Do not modify the footwear or add components that alter its fit or protective performance.

Performance levels cannot be guaranteed if the boot has been damaged by accident, unreasonable use, or neglect. Clean boots only according to the care instructions and do not store them wet or in direct sunlight.

Inspect boots daily. Discontinue use if the outsole tread is worn smooth, the sole separates, the protective toe is exposed or deformed, or seams or hardware are compromised.

These are water resistant. They shed light rain and splashes, but they are not sealed for standing water. For a fully waterproof boot, look for our DryVault™ styles.

Yes. These boots are slip resistant (SR), tested to ASTM F3445 on wet surfaces. The GripTrek™ outsole compound also resists oil.

Wipe off dirt with a damp cloth and let the boots air dry away from direct heat. Brush the nubuck with a suede and nubuck brush once it is dry. Do not use smooth leather conditioner. Do not dry wet boots on a heater or radiator, since fast heat stiffens the leather.

    Sole separated at month 5

    Right outsole started lifting at the toe at month 5. CS replaced under warranty but I was without my pair for 2 weeks.
