The Kiwi Reflector Black Safety Vest pairs a clean, professional black base with reflective detailing for workers who need added visibility without a full hi-vis color. Made from lightweight, breathable AirMesh™ polyester mesh, it promotes airflow and all-day comfort on warm-weather job sites.

Featuring 2-inch silver reflective tape with contrast trim for visibility in low-light and roadside conditions, this enhanced-visibility vest keeps a sharp look while its black base helps conceal dirt. (As a black-based reflective garment, it provides enhanced visibility rather than a rated ANSI/ISEA 107 class.) A non-conductive front zipper and utility pockets keep it practical for construction, warehouse, and utility crews.

Material (AirMesh™): Built with AirMesh™ 3.1 oz breathable polyester mesh that maximizes airflow to keep workers cool, dry, and comfortable through long, active shifts in hot conditions, with durable construction for everyday wear.

High Visibility (Noctis 360™): Features 2-inch silver reflective tape with a coefficient of retroreflection of 380 cd/(lx·m²) on new reflectors, exceeding the ANSI/ISEA 107-2020 minimum of 330 cd/(lx·m²), plus neon high-contrast trim for added daytime conspicuity and 360° reflective visibility at night.

Safety Rating: Enhanced-visibility design. The Noctis 360™ reflective tape meets ANSI/ISEA 107-2020 retroreflective performance, but the black background fabric is not an ANSI/ISEA 107-2020 compliant color, so this style is not rated to a high-visibility class.

This garment is constructed with 2-inch retro-reflective stripes on a black background. The retro-reflective tape meets the retroreflective performance requirements of ANSI/ISEA 107-2020, but the black background fabric is not an ANSI/ISEA 107-2020 compliant high-visibility color, so this garment is not rated to a high-visibility class. It provides enhanced reflective visibility in low-light and nighttime conditions rather than certified high-visibility protection.

This garment is designed to enhance the reflective visibility of the wearer in low-light conditions when worn properly. While it increases the wearer's ability to be seen at night, it does not protect against negligence on the part of vehicle operators or the wearer, and it is not designed to protect against heat, flame, or hazardous materials.

For optimal visibility, the front of the garment must be fastened. Do not wear a garment with less visibility protection over this one. Multiple sizes are available to ensure a proper fit.

Performance levels cannot be guaranteed if the garment has been damaged by accident, unreasonable use, or neglect. Clean this garment only according to the care instructions. Do not store it wet or in sunlight. If properly maintained, the garment has been tested to withstand a maximum of 25 cleaning cycles without impairment of its reflective performance level.

Inspect this garment daily and compare it with a new garment. Discontinue use if the retro-reflective trim is damaged. Gradual degrading of the retro-reflective trim is expected over time with outdoor exposure and use.

FAQ

The reflective tape on this vest is ANSI/ISEA 107-2020 compliant, but the garment itself is not rated to a visibility Class. Choose a Class 2 or Class 3 style if your site requires a rated garment.

Both are ANSI/ISEA 107-2020 visibility classes. Class 2 covers the torso and suits most road, parking, and warehouse work with traffic up to about 25 mph. Class 3 adds visibility on the sleeves (and often the legs) with more reflective and background material, for high speed traffic and high risk sites. When in doubt, or above 25 mph, most crews go Class 3.

It uses Noctis 360™ reflective tape, placed for 360 degree visibility so headlights and work lights catch you from any direction. On rated styles the tape meets the ANSI/ISEA 107-2020 reflective requirements.

Yes. The AirMesh™ breathable mesh body lets air move through the vest, so it stays comfortable in heat and humidity.

Machine wash cold on a gentle cycle, inside out, with no bleach and no fabric softener, since both break down reflective tape and high visibility color. Hang dry or tumble dry low. Following this keeps the garment compliant and bright for far longer.
