Engineered for tough environments and cold-weather performance, the Kiwi High Visibility Sherpa-Lined Safety Jacket combines rugged protection with ANSI-compliant visibility. Constructed with a Perlyx™ water-resistant PU-coated Oxford polyester shell, this hi-vis winter jacket sheds rain and blocks wind, while the fully sherpa-lined interior offers superior thermal insulation without the bulk, perfect for long days outdoors.

Compliant with ANSI/ISEA 107-2020, Type R, Class 3 standards, this jacket features Noctis 360™ 2-inch silver reflective tape and bright orange contrast trim to ensure 360° visibility in low-light, roadside, and construction environments. StormSentry™ weather protection pairs a non-conductive front zipper with a full storm flap and ETP™ snap collar to block out wind, rain, and snow, while the zip-off hood allows for adjustable coverage based on weather conditions.

Functional features include three utility pockets: a 3D chest radio pocket with flap and Velcro closure, plus two lower lined hand pockets with flap closures, ideal for tools, small gear, and personal items. The relaxed fit layers comfortably over uniforms or base layers, making it the perfect choice for high-performance, cold-weather hi-vis workwear.

Material (Perlyx™): Built with a Perlyx™ water-resistant 200D PU-coated Oxford polyester shell that sheds rain and blocks wind, with a durable 100% polyester construction for long-lasting wear in harsh environments.

High Visibility (Noctis 360™): Features 2-inch silver reflective tape with a coefficient of retroreflection of 380 cd/(lx·m²) on new reflectors, exceeding the ANSI/ISEA 107-2020 minimum of 330 cd/(lx·m²), plus orange high-contrast trim to ensure clear 360° visibility in both daytime and nighttime conditions.

Safety Rating: Compliant with ANSI/ISEA 107-2020, Type R, Class 3 standards for maximum visibility in high-risk, high-speed, low-light, construction, and roadway work environments.

Weather Protection (StormSentry™): StormSentry™ pairs a non-conductive front zipper with a full storm flap and a high ETP™ snap collar to shield against rain, wind, and snow in harsh outdoor conditions.

Insulation & Warmth: Fully sherpa-lined interior provides thermal insulation to keep you warm and comfortable on cold-weather job sites, without adding unnecessary bulk or restricting movement.

Detachable Hood: Zip-off hood provides customizable coverage for changing weather while maintaining mobility and comfort during physically demanding tasks.

Utility Pockets: Includes three storage pockets, a 3D flap-covered chest radio pocket with hook-and-loop closure and two lined lower hand pockets with flap closure, for secure storage of tools, radios, and personal items.

Anti-Static: The fabric resists static buildup, reducing static cling and shocks during long shifts on the job.

Fit & Flexibility: Relaxed cut designed to layer over base layers and uniforms while allowing unrestricted movement on physically demanding jobs.

Safety Note: Not flame resistant [Not FR]; not intended for environments requiring fire-retardant or arc-rated protection.

Meets the requirements of ANSI/ISEA 107-2020. Kiwi high-visibility apparel is constructed with 2-inch retro-reflective stripes and durable high-visibility background material.

This garment is designed to enhance the visibility of the wearer in all work lighting conditions and environments when worn properly, maximizing the wearer's safety. While it greatly increases the wearer's ability to be seen, it does not protect against negligence on the part of vehicle operators or the wearer, and it is not designed to protect against heat, flame, or hazardous materials.

For optimal visibility, the front of the garment must be fastened. Do not wear a garment with less visibility protection over this one. Multiple sizes are available to ensure a proper fit.

Performance levels cannot be guaranteed if the garment has been damaged by accident, unreasonable use, or neglect. Clean this garment only according to the care instructions. Do not store it wet or in sunlight. If properly maintained, the garment has been tested to withstand a maximum of 25 cleaning cycles without impairment of its performance level.

Inspect this garment daily and compare it with a new garment. Discontinue use if the retro-reflective trim is damaged or the fluorescent color of the fabric is noticeably faded. Gradual degrading of background fluorescence and retro-reflective trim is expected over time with outdoor exposure and use.

FAQ

Yes. It meets ANSI/ISEA 107-2020, Type R, Class 3, the highest visibility class. Class 3 is for high risk work and higher speed traffic. It carries more reflective and background material and covers the torso plus the sleeves so you are seen from every angle.

Both are ANSI/ISEA 107-2020 visibility classes. Class 2 covers the torso and suits most road, parking, and warehouse work with traffic up to about 25 mph. Class 3 adds visibility on the sleeves (and often the legs) with more reflective and background material, for high speed traffic and high risk sites. When in doubt, or above 25 mph, most crews go Class 3.

It uses Noctis 360™ reflective tape, placed for 360 degree visibility so headlights and work lights catch you from any direction. On rated styles the tape meets the ANSI/ISEA 107-2020 reflective requirements.

Yes. A Perlyx™ water resistant finish sheds rain and wet weather so you stay dry in light to moderate conditions.

Yes. A StormSentry™ storm flap covers the front zipper to block wind and rain, and it pairs with the hood to seal out the weather.

Machine wash cold on a gentle cycle, inside out, with no bleach and no fabric softener, since both break down reflective tape and high visibility color. Hang dry or tumble dry low. Following this keeps the garment compliant and bright for far longer.

High visibility gear is cut to layer over a base layer or shirt. Order your normal size for a standard fit, or size up one if you plan to wear it over a hoodie or jacket. Full measurements are on this page.

Over 3000 5 star reviews
Customers say this jacket delivers warmth and visibility for winter work environments. The sherpa lining keeps users comfortable in cold conditions, while the storm flap protects the zipper and seals against wind. The reflective bands and orange trim provide visibility at job sites and during low-light operations. Many reviews mention the class 3 rating meets workplace requirements. The zip-off hood offers versatility for hard hat use. Some users note the jacket runs warm above 40 degrees and may require layering in extreme cold. A few report minor issues with zipper stiffness initially, cuff sealing in heavy rain, and fit variations by frame size. The non-conductive zipper is valued by utility workers. Overall, users praise durability and functionality for outdoor winter work.
